Versailles Explorer: Wonders of the Royal palace and Gardens
Experience a discovery of the most wonderful Royal Palace in the world. Walk through the State Apartments and their amazing adornment, while you will be able to enjoy the stories of the Sun King Louis XIV and his successors, along with the intrigues of the court and the stories of the many mistresses and private lives of the kings.
Discovering their parties and hobbies, you will plunge into their everyday life, unveiling the habits ruled by the famous “etiquette” and all the ceremonies of the Castle.
After the visit of the apartments, you will be able to access the most exemplary parts of the gardens, extended on over 200 acres and decorated with more than 400 statues, created by the master landscape architect André Le Notre.
During the days of Fountain Shows and Musical Gardens you will also enjoy a beautiful experience walking the steps of the king Louis XIV through the magnificent groves and fountains. You will see the fountains in action, thanks to the original 18th century mechanism to provide them with water, while listening to French classical music: the perfect way to feel the atmosphere of the time!
